By mid-September, we received available dates at these arenas through the end of the year. But once they found out these were my benefit shows for Palestine, those dates were suddenly off the table.

The doors were closed. The conversations were all different, but the result was the same. The shows were not going to be allowed to happen in these venues.

I'm told suggesting that zionism has any power in the US is antisemitic and a trope. But then stuff like this pops up.

[-] sem@lemmy.blahaj.zone 16 points 9 hours ago

“From the beginning, our plan was to bring this tour home to the U.S.

But after weeks of reaching out, nine major American arenas have turned us down.

Madison Square Garden. Prudential Center. Barclays Center. UBS Arena. Intuit Dome. Kia Forum. Crypto.com Arena. Chase Center. Climate Pledge Arena. Here's what happened...

you can thank the pedophile friend of Epstein/ also a zionist no surprise, robert kraft who blacklisted him from the industry/ stadiums in the US.

[-] brygphilomena@lemmy.dbzer0.com 19 points 9 hours ago

He can play in my garage. I ain't got a sound system. Or really anything, but if the big venues won't put him up. Might as well do smaller more intimate locations.

Something down to earth like that is honestly what we need more these days.

Let men be men. Let us not make differences but fair commonality.

Right. His message is great, but I can't stand the arenas only touring bands/artists do these days.

You can do an American tour. You'll just have to play places that hold fewer than 20-60k people.

No US arena tour...

Because all our biggest venues are privately owned by billionaires even though residents pay for them via taxes and get insanely overcharged just by walking near one.

The real problem here is that, cities/states need to just say fuck it and take them.

Immanent Domain, calculate the offered price as value minus what to government and taxpayers already paid for it.

Then the already existing laws would prevent this bullshit.

Edit:

As a bonus, they wouldn't be named bullshit like "crypto(dot)com Arena"...

It's fucked up I didn't even register how dystopian that is when I quoted it, it's just so normalized these days.

None of this uber capitalist bullshit has to happen, we can just tell em to fuck off and take our resources back.

I tried that and it autocorrected to "Eminem Domain" everytime I tried to spell eminent....

So I just went with immanent

Quick edit:

No idea why anyone down voted you, you're correct

[-] alcoholicorn@lemmy.ml 1 points 6 hours ago

Your autocorrect has suffered brain damage from trying to understand Hagel.

[-] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 6 points 14 hours ago

No idea why anyone down voted you, you’re correct

Because small-minded people this a spelling correction is disagreement.

M&Mt domain. That's my domain. No peanuts. I love this stuff, It's a shame that https://lemmy.world/c/boneappletea isn't more active. There's always https://www.reddit.com/r/BoneAppleTea/ (apologies for the R link) though.

I think I missed something. He's doing a new Palestine support tour?

Is this a nice thing for a celebrity to do or is there something shitty going on?

[-] Sasquatch@lemmy.ml 10 points 11 hours ago

Ed Sheeran dropped him as an opening act a few months(?) ago at the arena's behest for Macklemore's outward comments on the genocide

pressured by Robert kraft the stadium owner, who then went ahead told other owners to block him from attending thier stadiums. Shareen trying to not bite the hand of his sugar daddy(he peformed for kraft's wedding), Hes totally complicit.

[-] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 4 points 8 hours ago

This was supposed to be a continuation of the one across the pond, in the US

[-] HumanOnEarth@lemmy.ca 47 points 17 hours ago

Put a whole bunch of stops in Canada. We'll come out.

[-] CapuccinoCoretto@lemmy.world 34 points 16 hours ago

Put up a bunch of stops in Canada with a ton of Canadian artists and I'll show up. I'm still boycotting the US, but I'll gladly make a minor exception for him and for Palestine if its otherwise a non-American lineup.

the US and UK are compromised and captured by Epstein Class/Israel. Thats the thanks they got for helping save the Zionists in WW2. They average person has been sold out by their own unchristian 'police'.

Half of London is owned by Russian Oligarchs

WW3 is Workers vs Billionaires and the billionaires hide behind propagandized mainstream media as well as fictional religion.

What better way to attack your opponent if they don't even notice the attacks?

Goethe was right: 'None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.'

They just upgraded the panopticon prison with flock cameras while we were at the rave/watching football/raising families....

[-] RumorsOfLove@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago)

You are right about foreign elites controlling the government.

You are wrong about religion and identity.

[-] mHtt@lemmy.ca -3 points 15 hours ago

im agnostic so i know I am correct in that humans are incapable of grasping reality, ergo any attempts are fictional. i cannot be wrong on this.

[-] Simon_Shitewood@lemmy.ml 4 points 15 hours ago

The Saudis own most of London, so you are entirely capable of being wrong on this.

[-] RumorsOfLove@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 15 hours ago

Grasping the entirely of reality? Or grasping some of reality. Surely some things can be grasped.
