both the education and health systems are getting absolutely butchered by this government and this is definitely going to impact you and the people around you.

Great. I'm already on month 15 of waiting for an appointment that the letter from the hospital told me was going to be a 6-8 month wait.

Seems we're in a "post truth" era here in New Zealand as well. This article has Luxon saying he doesn't want spin doctors and then Dr Shane Reti literally trying to spin this story.

My wife is a nurse. She has been doing 2-3 double shifts a week due to the ongoing nursing shortage, as have most of her colleagues. This plan means that her ward will be dangerously understaffed for every single shift.

I cannot comprehend how completely out of touch with reality this plan is.
