My kid is Non-verbal autistic with epilepsy. One day he had an appointment with his neurologist. We are walking down the apartment stairs, mother in front I'm behind. He goes into a seizure. I catch him and hold his head between my legs so he doesn't hit his head on the cement steps.

Suddenly my phone rings, it's my sister. We are not no-contact but rarely talk so it must be important so I answer. Her first words as I'm holding a child actively seizing between my legs were "hey, so mom broke her neck"...

Couple big things are 1. Only accept reasonable characters, on a white list instead of rejecting bad characters based on a black list. This will mean you are less likely to forget to block /0 for example. 2. Understand how strings work and ensure both reading and writing to that string doesn't extend beyond the end of memory allocated for the string. For example do you understand what the /0 would do to a string your program accepts?

The mention of "owl stuff vimeo" kinda makes me want to create "owlyfans.com"... No nudity(owl nudity ok) but just videos of owls and the various centers can accept donations.

Yes but I'll admit the flicking of my tongue and licking my lips are not normally done.

I agree but to give some context to the staff escaping, this probably was started because one of the people airvaced to a hospital was a staff member. They didn't "escape" they got sick and needed emergency medical treatment. I can believe someone heard a staff member was no longer on board and warped that into staff "escaping".

Why were they "responding to a snowball fight"? What broke law were they investigating? What even made them go there? Yes the police shouldn't of taken it to this level but also which grumpy person even called the in the first place?

I don't know what's worse... That program or that you put biscuits greater than bacon...

Actually I think the greater crime is biscuits being greater than bacon

This a actually worked out for a co-worker. He interviewed for a position and the interview went of like 6 hours. He waited 6 months and never heard anything. He applied for another position at my company. Different team, lower pay and not in his specialized field. He got that job. Another 3 months and the boss for the first job called him and said their initial hire didn't work out and asked if he was still interested.

He laughed and said he was already working but would be interested. The boss asked where he was working. He replied "I'm actually down stairs".

He got the job, more money then the initial offer and he was happy in the new position. Probably an unlikely event and I wouldn't recommend trying to duplicate it.

I think there is probably another reason for this. Yes I will say this is a good thing but I think a major reason for this is working mother's.

During boomer's childhood mothers stayed home and raised children.

During Gen x and melenial childhoods alot of mothers had part time jobs or jobs at the same time as schools(a lot with the schools directly like lunch ladies and bus drivers).

Now most woman have full time jobs. They can't be full time child care and full time worker alone. As a result they are full time worker part time child care, and the father is full time worker part time child care.

This is not saying woman should not be working or that father's don't have a responsibility for helping raise a child. Just saying this is likely partly responsible for this shift.
