Where I am the pandemic changed nothing about the acceptance of masking. Even during the pandemic I had people asking me to remove my mask.

Uhh in much of shithole countries (America) you can get shot for wearing a covid mask. Or at least disrespected.

I'd be publicly shamed if I wore one everywhere.

It's not a page from their book tho. The black bloc protesting tactic has been a main staple in leftist protests before most of these bootlickers were even born

The difference here is that, the people participating in black bloc part of a leftist protest are doing so to protect their fellow protestors from violence while trying to not get prosecuted by the state encouraging that same violence. Meanwhile these bootlickers with their tacticool gear and face mask are only trying to protect their identity to prevent social consequences and so that they can commit violence against minorities without any consequence. The state and police are pretty much on their side so why else would you have to protect your identity if nothing else because you're a fucking bootlicking pussy

Its not about the high road its about not normalizing both toxic masculinity and the idea that "why are you hiding your identity" when that's a value op sec strategy.

Yeah as someone who hates Proud Boys, this is obviously a bad faith attack on them which has the exact blowback you say.

People doing (or threatening to do) political violence are usually going to want to hide their identities from law enforcement and employers, and virtually everyone is afraid of getting arrested and/or fired.
