How the hell was he even in business in the first place. I refuse to believe the entire pillow thing wasn't just a massive money laundering scheme.
As I understand it he was basically a first mover in the whole recycled memory foam pillow industry, now it's borderline the standard so it made his whole business model irrelevant. It's just another example of a rich asshole getting there due to one good idea rather than any actual business accumen.
Oh man, Q Anon Anonymous did an episode on Mike Lindell's life, and this guy's entire life is punctuated by making it big and losing it all over and over. His life could be the plot of an Oscar-worthy movie
The numbers:
The Associated Press called the race for Demuth at 11:26 p.m. ET as the state speaker had secured 43.6% of the 93% of the votes counted.
Lindell, who was backed by President Donald Trump, came a distant second with 32.3%% of the votes.
Kendall Qualls, a former healthcare executive who has backed the Minnesota GOP, placed third with 21.4% of the vote.
Klobuchar won the Democratic primary with 89.6% of the votes, and polls show her with a wide lead in the general election.
Right around 32% of americans are truly disconnected from reality and fucked in the head.
It's actually a bit better. Minnesota does have open primaries, but you can only pick 1 to vote in per primary.
So only 32% of people that chose to vote in the republican primary.
Roughly 685,000 people voted in the democratic primary while only 413,000 people voted in the Republican primary.
Based on those results, I put the figure at 53.7%
To be fair, the guy did figure out how to make a pillow Nazi propaganda.

It feels sad that I felt relief that he didn't win. That's how low my faith is in the electorate at this point.

She was the ringleader for the state house coup back in 2025 (where they tried to elect her speaker of the house after playing games with absent members.)
Now, to be fair, looking into the results of a Republican primary and expecting to feel hopeful is like going to the barn animals exhibit at a county fair and expecting to smell something other than animal shit.
I was rooting for him, because his residence is in Texas, and he votes in Texas, so he is ineligible to run for office in Minnesota. I was hoping he'd win the primary, then they'd disqualify him, and the Democrat Klobuchar could run unopposed.

First of all, he doesn't have any money, he's broke as shit. He's lost lawsuits, and destroyed his company's brand image. He had a great thing going until he went MAGA Crazy.
Secondly, he's from Minnesota, and only moved to Texas after Minnesota became enemy territory. Now he's trying to have it both ways.
